Comprehensive Exam: Dr. Yu will spend time with you to educate you on your dental conditions and co-discover any current dental issues. Dr. Yu and his staff will also review the maintenance of your dental health with you.

Preventive Treatment: Dr. Yu will perform simple cleanings to keep your teeth clean and breath fresh. Flouride and sealants can be applied to help prevent cavities.

Nightguards and Occlusion: Dr. Yu has taken advanced education courses on occlusion, which is analyzing how the upper and the lower teeth meet, whether any abnormal movements of the jaws exist and whether there is anything abnormal with the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Depending on the abnormality, Dr. Yu may be able to treat grinding, clenching or jaw pain with a nightguard.

Periodontics: The gums and bone around your teeth are the foundation for healthy teeth. Dr. Yu will educate you and perform procedures to help you achieve optimal oral health and maintain your smile.

Fillings and Crowns: Cavities will destroy your teeth. Dr. Yu will remove your caries (infected tooth structure) and will restore the function and aesthetics of your teeth with cosmetic fillings, inlays, onlays and crowns.

Cosmetic Bonding: If you are unhappy with the shape or color of your teeth and you have healthy gums, cosmetic bonding with composite, veneers, inlays or onlays may be the solution for you.

Bleaching or Whitening: Teeth can be whitened to a lighter shade. Dr. Yu and his staff will explain the alternatives with you and help you select the best method for your needs. Brighton Dental Health also has in-office ZOOM whitening as well as take-home whitening.

Orthodontics: Dr. Yu will provide Invisalign orthodontics.

Implants, Bridges, Dentures: If you have missing teeth, Dr. Yu can give you options and recommendations. We can restore your missing teeth with implants, bridges, partials or complete dentures so you are smiling and chewing again. You can discuss the options to replace missing teeth with Dr. Yu and select the best solution for you.

Root Canals: If the nerve has been damaged and will not heal, a root canal is necessary to restore painless function of the tooth. A root canal is a procedure in which the nerve is removed from the tooth, while saving the tooth itself. Dr. Yu will determine whether a root canal is necessary and help you determine what is the best treatment for your dental health. Dr. Yu will start the root canal AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN NUMBED AND ARE COMFORTABLE.

Extractions: Dr. Yu will perform extractions if you decide that would be the best treatment plan for your oral health. Dr. Yu will perform routine and surgical extractions.

Urgent Treatment: If you have pain, we have same-day emergency appointments. Dr. Yu will find the cause of the pain, inform you and provide treatments to relieve your pain. Dr. Yu will perform root canals to save teeth from infected nerves. He will also perform extractions if needed.
